Change workspaces to horizontal tabs to save screen space

Problem Description

Finally added more services than the screen hight on the laptop allows. Tried to organize them into workspaces but the UI is a wide left side panel that wastes a lot of space. This is completely unnecessary and probably precludes wider adoption.

Proposed Solution

Please consider changing them to something more space saving like horizontal tabs at the top or bottom of the screen. Would be nice to allow to change the tabs color to make it easier to differentiate different workspaces.

There is a solution to this. You can change the sidebar to a topbar in the settings.

Can you show a screenshot of that setting?

I can only find a way to put the service bar on top, not the workspace sidebar.

My bad, I meant the service list, not the workspace list.
