Steps to reproduce
- I try adding Slack as a service
- It worked
- I came back an hour later and it won't load at all (despite relaunching the app, deleting/re-adding, etc.)
- I've now deleted and re-added it, but slack won't even load at all now, just a white space no matter what I try.
Expected Behavior
Slack to work in Ferdium for my company
Actual Behavior
I suspect it MAY have something to do with my company having 2 Slack workspaces? Not sure, but when I came back it asked which one I wanted, and every time I clicked the correct one, it just opened it in a browser (even though I changed the settings to open links in Ferdium after that and still opened in browser).

I see this is pushed through to the discord server - I also just joined that as well (@nighthawk) and can provide more info if needed on there
Any update here? It seems slack is not loading at all for a few people that I've seen now.
same here. Slack not working at all
I just installed the most recent update and Slack still not working at all.
Add Evernote to Slack now. Neither working on Ferdium (on most recent update).
I have an existing Slack service in Ferdium that is still working, but if I try to add a new one, I get the same blank screen that others have reported. In addition, Ferdium's window title shows the following:
Ferdium - Slack - %7Bteamid%7D.slack.com
If I then right-click on the service icon in the left-hand pane and select "Edit", I see that the service name and team have reverted to their defaults ("Slack" and a blank field, respectively). If I re-enter the data in these two fields, then I'm prompted with the usual Slack sign-in page and everything seems to work.
For me Slack is now stuck on their loading screen:
Ferdium's service console has this in it:
I had the same error, i needed to connect with SAML (in case you may want reproduce) on the workspace
It was fixed just by adding a user agent in the service (as shown in the service, you can go to that url from your browser to discover yours.)
Hope that can help :)
That worked!! Thank you!
I just updated the user agent to the latest firefox version's.
