Add "examples" directory to provide some basic code examples.

examples_old.py tries to import method "Rule" which doesn't exist anymore. Is there a replacement or a working example.py? Thanks for a hint, Helmut

examples_old.py uses the old customization API. I forgot to remove that file. The new documentation API is documented here

That's a pity. Lazy people like me would like to look at a demo which shows the features of a piece of software before the dive into the documentation. And, tests/docs/customizing.py has from .. import Example which doesn't exist. So, please, add a working example.py. Thanks, Helmut

I guess it would be nice if there was an examples/ directory with some examples.
