Autosrting of cutout curves sometimes gets ruined

Open JensDyvik opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

The problem seems to be in the "Fix curve seam" clusters inside the "Cutout component" image

If the Fix curve seam clusters are overridden, the the sorted order is preserved. This would be great to fix, because sometimes the unnecessary jogging can significantly increase the duration of a job.

It seems the override destroyed the inside/outside curve sorting. So not a good short term fix after all

A possible solution could be to set the start point of the curve manually using a set parameter such as a cp operation based on the work plane origin. That should be something you could do in a custom component without affecting the others Burch if and ruining the curve order downstream.
