At Ease app doesn't recognize floppy disk images I "insert" into macintosh.js folder

I've "inserted" a floppy disk image into the C:\Users{user}\macintosh.js folder, and the app mounts the image as a floppy disk ready to use in Finder. However, when I want to use the same floppy disk image in At Ease (which was a multi-user Mac OS environment that also provided heightened security), by selecting "Copy To Floppy" or "Copy From Floppy" from the File menu, At Ease does not know there's a floppy disk image there, and says, "Please insert a floppy disk." I'm not too sure this is an issue with this app or with its parent app Basilisk -- it may be consistent with the original At Ease program, where it requires physical floppy media as opposed to a disk image. Stupid of me --
