I guess the binary pypandoc downloads has the flag on to ease the usage. Unfortunately it's often not enabled in a distribution packaged pandoc.
@Natim The releases page only includes releases up to 0.3.3, but the current version is 0.9.2 on PyPI.
Not sure what doesn't work for you. It's working properly here.
As of current master https://github.com/flashrom/flashrom/commit/1f65e9029b8c9d0fbe6c60d8fee249c57fd3f3fa meson build on RISC-V succeeds here. Invoking `make` would still result in similar failures in OP.
It's related, and IMHO the work on a PyPI package will greatly make the others simpler.
It's on Arch Linux x86_64
Update: It looks weird but 0.28.5 works correctly again here.
The changes do not look related - maybe I'm not really familiar with it :P
