Calendar permissions not working on Catalina again

I am trying to use icalBuddy to get list of todays events, but Ubersicht never asks for calendar permission and I have only blank output from command in Ubersicht widget.

I can not manually put Ubersicht in Calendar access under Security & Privacy settings.

I am using current newest version 1.6 (69).

Was this ever fixed? Calendar widget isn't working for me either

this is currently an issue in sonoma 14.1.2. after a clean install of both übersicht and ical-buddy (from brew), übersicht doesn't have permission to access calendars, nor does it prompt for access.
