Do people mix npm and requirejs in projects?

So just FYI, I was able to find an alternative solution to my problem so no worries if you don't want to publish this to npm, but to answer your question:

Yes -- My client's project is a traditional "enterprise" app, and it definitely is not using Node. However there is a ton of existing JavaScript that is using requirejs that needs to be optimized and tested and to NOT use the breadth of tools available on npm would be a misstep.
