Empty repositories view doesn't finish rendering

On an initial opening of the git tool, if there are no repositories to show, the view shows "Rendering..." with a close button. Adjusting the windows size clears this indicator.

I can’t reproduce this on 0.8.1550 or 0.8.1545, on macOS Intel or my Parallels virtual machine.

Are there any other things we should know about? Anything you do before launching the Git tool?

Sorry, didn’t mean to close the issue :)

If you go to the git tool when the GT window is the initial default size this doesn't seem to happen. If I resize it to maybe 1.5x that size or greater, I can reproduce.

So to reproduce, have a larger than default GT window open, and open the git tool with no repositories having been loaded loaded.

Thanks! I tried this morning with larger screens and even fullscreen and was unable to reproduce in either of my environments; maybe my screen isn’t big enough. I’ll see whether I can find an environment in which I can reproduce!

Are you maybe clicking in the left side view? A mouse click makes it go away, and also any minute adjustment of the window size.

I’m trying not to do any interaction other than clicking on the Git icon; I’ll let you know about any further development!

No longer reproducible in 0.8.2279
