hardcoded /etc/resolv.conf with wrong line endings - instead of DHCP resolv config
Hi,
Total newbie to octo4a here, but I tried to import my RPI octoprint settings. My Tasmota-plugin could not resolve/connect my Tasmota-plug :-(
Connecting via ssh, I noticed that name resolution inside the environment was also broken, because /etc/resolv.conf looked like:
nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.4
instead of having a correct line break. In addition, I would have liked to have my home router's DNS configured (coming via DHCP of course) instead of hardcoded google DNS.
So, would it not be possible to just copy the resolv config from Android? Instead of writing a hardcoded (broken) one?
Thanks for the hint. I was wondering why my Tasmota-plugin didn't work
Yes, the hard coded DNS is not ideal. Can it not be set to use the router's nameserver?
