RSS feed fails to download

Gives in the popup menu: "Failed: " followed by the url.

I used the feed valdator at https://validator.w3.org/feed/ and it shows the RSS feed to be valid.

Any ideas?

I should say I am using Ubuntu with XFCE4 and the 1.05-1 .deb install.
