Config dialog freezes until feeds finish loading

While using the indicator I came across a few thing which I would like to have.

First: While loading the new feedlist the menu freezes. You need to wait until it finishes
loading. It would be nice that the menu say 'Loading...' while loading or something
like it.

Second: Currently every post that is in the list have to be online too, which isn't
a problem for most feeds, but for some not. It would be nice when the posts are also
stored local, so that when they vanish from the online list they don't vanish from
the menu.
I thought about a simple database to save the parsed feeds or and additional list for
unread feeds and a corresponding cache file.
