Area
App Intents Framework
Operating System Version
iOS and iPadOS 17.4-17.7
Type
Incorrect/Unexpected Behavior
Description
App Intents that are wrapped in an #available appear on older versions of iOS in the shortcuts app. When attempting to run the shortcut which is only designed to be run on a newer version of iOS, an error occurs saying “Unable to run App Shortcut”.
Download sample project which demonstrates the issue. See video of issue.
Expected Behavior: When App Intents are wrapped in an #available like SearchIntent is in the sample project, it should not appear in the shortcuts app on the OS it was not designed to run on.
