Description
I've encountered a bug in .inspector, and after a brief search, it appears to have gone unaddressed since January 2024:
FB16257334: Inspector View Bug
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the attached project in Xcode 16.4.
- Launch it on the iPad Pro 13" M4 (iOS 18.5 simulator).
- Rotate the device to landscape.
- Tap the three dots at the top of the app and select Split View. Then open Safari from the dock to enable a side-by-side split view (app on the left, Safari on the right).
- Drag the split view separator to the left, reducing the app to a horizontally compact size class.
- Tap the button to open the inspector — it appears as a bottom sheet.
- Drag the separator back to the center of the screen.
Expected Behavior:
The bottom sheet should disappear, and the inspector panel should reappear as a slide-over on the right side.
Actual Behavior:
The bottom sheet transitions to a floating panel but loses its content. A shadow appears where the slide-over panel should be. If you attempt to dismiss the sheet by dragging, then tap the "Show/Hide Inspector" button again, the slide-over shadow animates in and out — but no inspector content is ever displayed.
