bodhi's "Fedora-flavored markdown" considered harmful, encourages use of unsupported markdown features

Hi, currently bodhi supports a powerful form of Markdown:

This encourages people preparing updates to make use of the full range of markdown features supported by bodhi. Sadly, this is much greater than what is actually supported by software centers. For example:

GNOME Software intentionally only supports a small subset of markdown defined by the appstream spec. I'm not sure about KDE Discover, but the situation is probably similar. We obviously need Fedora updates to never use unsupported markdown. It would be nice for bodhi to limit itself to this same subset of markdown so that packagers preparing updates do not get confused.
