Hello,

I know not many people use the search feature, but I use it quite a lot, and I encounter a few problems with searching :

• when I search for a keyword in a particular category, the search results contain notes from all the categories

• when I modify a note selected from a search results list, closing that note makes me lose the search criteria

• when I modify the sort order of the search result list, I lose the search criteria

Can't reproduce. Looking at the code it should search only into the currently opened category, and the behavior for me is that one.

True, this modification has sense. I'll give a look to implement it.

when I modify the sort order of the search result list, I lose the search criteria

True too. This should be easier and changing the way it's done should improve sorting performances too.

See issue #622 Search within long text notes isn't available, at least on my version 5.5.0Some of my notes are rather long, copied web pages etc.
