[FEATURE]: Update Auto_Jobs_Applier_AIHawk for Australian Job Market

Open maxmilneaus opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Feature summary

Update the Auto_Jobs_Applier_AIHawk to include Australian job market specifics and work authorization details.

Feature description

The current version of Auto_Jobs_Applier_AIHawk appears to be focused on the US, EU, and other international job markets. We need to update the code to include Australian-specific elements:

Update the legal_authorization section to prioritize Australian work rights:

Add fields for Australian work authorization, visa requirements, and sponsorship needs Include New Zealand work rights due to the Trans-Tasman agreement Adjust international work rights (US, EU, Canada, UK) to reflect typical Australian citizen status

Update relevant sections (e.g., education_details, experience_details, certifications) to include Australian-specific terminology and qualifications. Modify job search parameters to focus on Australian job boards and recruitment platforms. Update any location-specific fields to include Australian cities and regions. Adjust any currency-related fields to use Australian Dollars (AUD) as the default. Include Australian-specific job titles and industry terminologies in relevant sections.

Motivation

The current version doesn't adequately cater to users in the Australian job market. By updating the code to include Australian-specific elements, we can: Improve the tool's relevance and effectiveness for Australian job seekers Ensure accurate representation of Australian work rights and qualifications Enhance the tool's ability to match users with appropriate job opportunities in Australia

Alternatives considered

Creating a separate Australian version of the tool Adding a region selection feature that adjusts the tool's behavior based on the user's location

However, integrating Australian elements into the main codebase seems more efficient and maintainable in the long run.

@feder-cr and @cjbbb - It was more a suggestion as I'm not actually a coder myself.

Is this still a desired feature? I am interested in contributing
