q: how to incorporate tags provided by other plugins

I love the ability of collapsing songs into a few defined genres. I guess I fail to understand how plugins work in general.

If i have a wikipedia plugin and last fm plugin do they just overwrite each others data? do they concatenate? i have some songs that have custom defined tags, how can I do the sort (auto rename/move to library)? If i fetch tags from wikipedia, can they be then piped into this plugin?

my filenaming rule is:
