feature request: auto rate last fm tracks

I was wondering. I see last.fm discloses top tracks for artist and the full list of track popularity per each album based on user listening scrobbles.

Is it possible to call top tracks/popularity per artist/album from lastfm API and figuring out a way to translate that into a usable tag (5 star rating, love, or other tagfield). ie: auto rate top tracks per artist or album, auto rate all tracks per album.

I havent heard of anyone else doing this. if the correct api is there, wow that would be awesome.
