i have this error

GLFW ERROR 65543: GLX: Failed to create context: GLXBadFBConfig

i'm using ubuntu 14 VM ...

VM, as in, virtual machine? You probably have an issue with OpenGL drivers.

Is there other software that works with OpenGL 3 drivers? For example, does Blender work in the VM?
