Missing Characters on FreeBSD Console (vt)

Hello! Spleen is missing many characters in the FreeBSD console needed for the manual subsystem. The most notable omission is the em-dash which separates manual pages names from their document descriptions. You can view them by using man mandoc_char.

Briefly, as the manual describes them there's:

Double dagger
Dagger
White square
Left hand
Right hand
Check Mark
Trade Mark
Em-dash
En-dash
Hyphen
Right low double-quote
Right low single-quote
Left angle
Right angle

And so on.

A particularly bad one we're struggling^1 with is the mathematical asterisk created by roff escape \(**, which you can see on mandoc_char(7).

I don't know too much, but is there any way I can help?
