Audio artifacts (Popping/cracking) on Traktor Kontrol S Series Interfaces with Pi3

This might be specific to me, I wanted to test drive this on the Pi3 that i had laying in a drawer and it seems to work better than i was able to get it to run on stock Rasperry Pi OS, however I noticed one thing that didn't go away was sound artifacting when the screen is drawing.

There are no buffer under runs reported in the sound settings and i have it set to max buffer size with a sample rate of 44100. The built in output seems to be fine though, no pops or cracks in the audio, it seems specific to usb sound interfaces.

The interface in question is the built in interface for the Traktor Kontrol S2 Mk1, which works fine otherwise.

Could it be a USB Bus saturation issue with it being shared on the Pi3? or something that can be fixed in software.

I have also tested combining the 2 cards, Master going to the Pi's 3.5mil jack and headphones only to the Kontrol S2 and the problem is the same. Built in output crystal clear, headphone (USB) output crackly.
