Anyways, to be practically usable... how do I change the URL manually? I mean like in elinks when I press g it prompts me for a new URL to go. The same with lynx.

This feature just landed on the main branch! You can give it a try by downloading the latest binaries using CI builds, or using the next Docker image:

$ docker pull fathyb/carbonyl:next
$ docker run -ti fathyb/carbonyl:next
