Update MetaRetriever to scrape from MetaStats

This also effectively removes the intermediate XML storage, which means that every time HDT starts up and the plugin is loaded that MetaStats will be scraped.

This change also fixes some minor bugs that prevented the plugin from loading correctly.

It looks like this never made it into the latest release. I assume this fixes the issue mentioned in issue #9?

I'm not sure - I'm not in a position to build or test this project anymore. I'm happy to transfer ownership of the repo to anyone who wants to continue maintaining it.
