Expo SDK 52 - Menu vanishes upon checking one item

The menu vanishes upon checking or unchecking any item, and leaves the dropdown in a bugged state. You then need to click twice on the dropdown, toggling it closed (although it is already falsely invisible) and then opening it again. Issue appeared when upgrading the Expo SDK 51 -> 52.

Any resolutions for this? Having this issue since Expo SDK 49 and now on SDK 52 as well
