I think languages that have WER of < ~10% is pretty reasonable to add.

Hey @taoxionghotstar is it practical to support both tranditional/simplified Chineese? or just one is enough? Please provide more context since I don't know anything about it :)

@amirrezasalimi Persian language WER is too high for Whisper, especially for on-device use-case. We could potentially support it when launching the cloud.

We decided to allow selecting any language, but we’ll display error rates in the UI as a heads-up. This will be rolled out over the next couple of weeks.
