cli [FEATURE REQUEST] event logs

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It would be nice to be able to audit recent events for services thru the cli instead of thru the ui as described in https://docs.fastly.com/en/guides/reviewing-service-activity-with-the-event-log

Describe the solution you'd like The cli should be able to list recent events and be able to filter by event types. For example, I would like to see when was the recent cache purge url/purge all that happen for our services, or when was the last vcl activation that happen, etc..

Describe alternatives you've considered We currently query thru the api or use the ui, but having it as part of the fastly cli would be nice.

Thanks for raising this issue. Just to confirm this is the API you're using currently is that correct?

I'm not sure where to post it, but in addition it would be nice to be able to track when changes are made to dictionaries or acls entries. Currently, I'm unable to track those changes in neither the fastly console ui or with the api.

@rayzorinc I would say raise a support ticket ([email protected]) as they should be able to route the request internally faster than I can 🙂
