Doesn't changing the scheduling priority with F7 / F8 end up the same?

Well, then I'd opt for Ctrl-F7 and Ctrl-F8 as per https://github.com/htop-dev/htop/issues/980#issuecomment-1105389744 above

This geshi update is needed for PHP 7.4+ compatibility as `create_function()` has been depreciated (and accordingly has been replaced in the newer version).

@leahneukirchen Do you want to implement the three review comments from @cgzones ?

@dundee: Did you test the [cgzones:darwin_threads](https://github.com/cgzones/htop/tree/darwin_threads) branch?

https://github.com/rib/gputop for inspiration

Cannot reproduce. Debian Bookworm $ ldd htop linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007fffc6d66000) libncursesw.so.6 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libncursesw.so.6 (0x00007f0bac267000) libtinfo.so.6 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libtinfo.so.6 (0x00007f0bac234000) libm.so.6 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6 (0x00007f0bac155000) libc.so.6 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 (0x00007f0babf74000) /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f0bac316000) Works as intended.

@BenBE: I cannot reproduce this on a (real, hardware) Mac and macOS 11.7.1 20G918 x86_64. Note the `zsh: illegal hardware instruction htop` in the original bug report and the "hackintosh"...
