Shortcuts not working when Taskbar is used

Open miyuushi opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

Adding shortcuts to the homescreen doesn't work when Taskbar is set as the default home app. Temporarily changing it back to another launcher to add the shortcut doesn't solve it either, since when I change it back to Taskbar, the shortcut is greyed out and says "This shortcut is not available" when tapping it. Any idea what causes this?

android shortcut policy is. when taskbar is default, it is the one and only app to use shortcuts, cuz no apps are allowed to use shortcuts other then default launcher, which is set to Taskbar. you can use xposed module Xposed Edge to bypass this, as it still creates old-style shortcuts, but its somewhat tricky to setup and requires root.

That's a bummer. I couldn't find the option Xposed Edge to do what I wanted. I was trying to add a PWA for code-server.

Any workaround for this?
