Super Technos World: River City & Technos Arcade Classics

Haven’t downloaded it yet, but a cursory glance at the SteamDB depot leads me to believe the ROMs are baked into the “.dll” files for the respective game. This particular collection is pretty neat as it has brand-new localizations for almost every Japanese exclusive game included.

I can confirm that all of the arcade games are extractable. Some dummy files need to be created for the PROMs, but once that's done, the games work in both MAME and, reportedly, FBNeo.

The site Milkchoco.info provides detailed instructions for extracting most of the games—except The Combatribes, which I was still able to extract using a similar method. The general process involves using Binwalk to analyze the files, then extracting the data accordingly.

Notable examples:

Super Dodgeball (Neo Geo) – This one is a bit more complex and requires additional tools: https://milkchoco.info/archives/10868

China Gate – https://milkchoco.info/archives/10896

Shadow Force – https://milkchoco.info/archives/10906

Xain'd Sleena (Solar Warrior is included): https://milkchoco.info/archives/10920

The Combatribes can be extracted using the same Binwalk-based process, though it's not covered on the site.

I haven't explored the console games myself, simply because they don’t interest me as much.

The instructions required for a batch file to extract The Combatribes have been posted by Jack here: https://milkchoco.info/archives/12189#comment-9371
