PS2 Sega Genesis Collection

Use Linux or cygwin or wsl or some other *nix system:

  1. Get utilities from https://github.com/arpruss/xsr
  2. Copy the data from disc to the SEGA subdirectory, or edit the sega-extract.sh script to point to the CD for the inputs
  3. Run sega-extract.sh
  4. Now you have all the Genesis roms in SEGA/roms directory, and .rom files for the arcade games (not compatible with any known emulator).
  5. Run generate-mame2003-sega.sh to create mame roms for the arcade games in the mame2003 directory. Altered Beast will be missing sound. Zaxxon and Zektor need a download of mame samples.
