The original game seems to be included in a "retro-mode". Is this a emulated ROM, and if so, can it be extracted?

It does not appear to be emulated.

Additionally, I looked through its depot and found that the retro files resembled the ones in the base game; it is almost certainly a new port.

To bad. Looked like the original at first glance. Wished it was possible to remove the filters at least.
