Elements in startup screen incorrectly sized

Opening the application using Catalan, it looks like: jcz-3

Clicking "New Game" and getting back to the initial screen looks much better as it breaks the strings correctly: jcz-4

what is your screen resolution? and do you have one or two displays?

One display, Kubuntu 15.04 and a screen resolution of 1366x768.
