iOS Chrome – Carousel Jumps to Last Image Before Selecting
Describe the bug
On iOS Chrome, the vehicle image carousel behaves unexpectedly. When tapping on any image thumbnail:
The carousel first jumps to the last image,
Then switches to the selected image.
This causes a glitchy and confusing UX for users. The issue is not reproducible on other browsers or platforms (tested on Android, desktop, and Safari iOS).
Reproduction
- Open this URL in iOS Chrome:
- https://beta2.falconcarrental.com/ca/los-angeles/porsche/convertible/911-carrera-s-cabriolet-992-1/198
- Tap on any image thumbnail in the vehicle image carousel.
- Observe the jump to last image, then switch back to the selected one.
Additional context
Affected Browser & Device Browser: Chrome
Platform: iOS (tested on latest version as of June 2025)
Additional Info All other platforms/browsers render the carousel correctly.
The issue appears to be specific to how Chrome on iOS handles the Fancybox UI.
When an image thumbnail is tapped, the carousel should directly show the selected image without jumping to the last image.
