GLES for desktop?
Firstly, nice work!
I'm trying to compile this game for Linux handhelds (see Anbernic, etc.). The problem is that these devices don't support OpenGL; they only support GLES. I see that compiling for Android targets GLES, but, of course, all the other relevant Android features as well.
So, basically, what I need is a Linux desktop version that doesn't use OpenGL. Do you have any tips on how I might accomplish this?

Hi! I've not updated the support for GLES for a looong time unfortunately (I have updated the readme to reflect this, but it's not made its way to the main branch yet) so it's unlikely to work at all. Some time ago there was someone attempting to do a very similar thing for linux based handhelds - although I can't seem to find the topic any more (perhaps they deleted it 🤔). If I do find it I'll drop a link here in case they managed to make any progress with it.
