jackass not listed in carla
As say in title jackass not listed in carla, last carla from kxstudio-debian ppa (ubuntu 14.04). Perhaps i m wrong
Did you rescan for plugins? JackAss is only available as VST, so it's not auto-scanned by carla.
Yes, i have just do that before write this issue
The terminal says:
....

where does this terminal output come from?
I promise you i have no drunk ! LOL ! Don't know surely a precedent command in terminal when i had searched about jackass in terminal.
When i see your question, i suppose it's not a carla putput ;)
No responses about this issue ?
I'll look at it eventually. JackAss is not needed in Carla, so I'm not in a rush.
in this case howto start it ? without vst host
...I'm not sure you understand how JackAss is useful for. If you don't have a vst host, what do you need JackAss for?
If i understand it's a bridge between jack and 'without output jack-midi' hosts. I want just to test it and start it from carla...
but carla has jack-midi, so there's no need for the plugin there.
ok you win ;) I have no host without midi jack port
This can probably be closed, I'm able to see it in the plugins list after I re-scan.
