carla-vst-wine not loading on FL 2025 under wine

Hello, I'm not sure whether I'm doing something wrong or this is a bug. FL never finishes loading the plugin.

carla is installed globally on my system using apt, and i also installed the carla-vst-wine package from https://kx.studio/Repositories:Applications.

I moved the winvst folder into my wine bottles drive_c/Program Files/Common Files/VST2 folder, and FL studios plugin manager can find it.

Ubuntu 25.04 x86_64 Bottles 51.24 (Installed as a flatpak) with kron4ek-wine-10.11-staging-tkg-amd64 runner FL Studio 25.1.6 [4997]

turning on "Verify Plugins" causes status of CarlaVstShellBridged to return Error
