Only the first plugin of it's kind processes MIDI events.
- I have 2 of the same plugins loaded, with 2 different presets
- I send MIDI CC2 (breath) on channel 1 to control the Dry/Wet
- The first plugin adjusts correctly, but the second one does not
- I move the second plugin up so it's first now, and now it responds fine but the second one doesn't.
- This is true even on different channels.
This also steals midi signals from the parameter mappings, so the second plugin just cannot respond to midi.
Outside of that, multiple different plugins can listen on the same channel OK I think.
Ok this seems to maybe be an issue specifically related to yabridged plugins I got reajs via yabridge and creating 2 of them does not create 2 pipewire (idk what the word is) sinks (i think) only the 1 but e.g. creating 2 native vst of dragonfly reverb works fine
Creating a carla-rack with 2 carla-racks in it also has the same issue, only 1 of the two 'secondary' racks gets a midi in
While these issues seem funky, and probably should be checked, for me personally my "workaround" for now is that I was not using what I should have been using, which is Carla in Jack single client mode (in RaySession) which allows me to have 1 jack client with a bilion carla racks hooked up to midi events just fine
