carla-vst-wine on NixOS

I'm trying to get carla-vst-wine to work so I can finally get back to producing, but I'm finding it a little difficult.

Does anyone have any idea to make carla-vst-wine work on NixOS? I tried putting the files in the Wine VSTs directory and it didn't work. carla is installed globally. AFAIK that should include the data for it too so the only thing I'm missing is to actually get it to work. Trying to do this for FL studio 2024 under the default Wine prefix

I got it kind of working using https://github.com/musnix/musnix but unfortunately hit a snag where the plugin refuses to launch in patchbay mode and stays in rack mode.

How? I'm also using musnix and I have experimental features enabled in Carla. What exactly did you do? Where did you put the files?
