Conversion of "per <measure>" type statements and ratios

Example here at Serious eats' fondue recipie

...ratio of about one cup [240 ml] of wine per pound of cheese...

The one cup is converted, but the per pound is not. I also come across this type of ratio measurements in terms of per gallon or per stick of butter. It'll be nice to convert the per to its metric equivalent too. So for the example above it would become

...ratio of about one cup [240 ml] of wine per pound [453 g] of cheese...

Thanks for the suggestion! This is relatively easy to change, I'll give it a go. I suppose it would be even nicer to convert the ratio as a whole

...ratio of about one cup of wine per pound [50 ml/100 g] of cheese...

but that's substantially more difficult and I'm not sure the pattern comes up frequently enough to make this worthwhile.
