Hey,

Can you give me a screen shot from the error message and one from the device manager (the part about kinect or prime sense sensor)?

I solved this problem, I can't remember how, but now I'm having it again. screenshot 2

That is weird, the camera isn't showing up under the Kinect, after a while I also got something called Kinect for Windows Security Control to show up but not the camera

screenshot 5 Nevermind It's under the PrimeSense section.

After right clicking the Kinect camera under PrimeSense and clicking update drivers it reinstalled the normal drivers and it works fine.

I installed Kinect for Windows Drivers 1.8, Kinect For Windows Developer Toolkit v1.8.0 and it didn't fix the issue. Then I changed the USB from one port to another, and it started working(On 1.8 Drivers and Developer Toolkit).

Also, Soroush, you might want to keep this issue opened: I think far from all people know their way around GitHub and will open closed issues to check if other people had this issue.

Thanks for the program btw.

Resolvi esse problema, não me lembro como, mas agora estou tendo de novo. captura de tela 2

Good evening. I am a regular computer user and I want to use my Kinect as a webcam. I did the guided procedures and it doesn't work. Displays Error. Same as the mentioned error.

Try other USB ports, one that doesn't shares the port with other devices. Some motherboards have multiple USB ports that are all connected to an internal USB Hub. That won't work. Kinect needs the full bandwidth of USB. Sometimes USB3 doesn't work, try both USB2 and USB3 ports. If none of it helped you need to check out the driver.

Good evening. Ok. It was solved by changing the Doors. Now how do I use it on Skype, google meet, among others. need to download something? I really appreciate your attention.

We have an issue about that, read more here: https://github.com/falahati/NiVirtualCam/issues/10 In short, you need to use Win32 apps that support DirectShow filters. The desktop version of Skype is supported. The Windows Store version is not. I don't know about zoom. Some people reported that since Chrome moved to x64 it is no longer supported, so I might release a version for that. Otherwise, it should show up in the list of webcams of the program you want to use it for.

Good morning, I have a problem installing the most recent version of Nivirtual, but when I want to download the program it throws me an error that it could not connect and could not download the program properly and when I want to start it it sends me a message. I attached a picture of what I mean. I ask for your help since I would like to give my kinet a new use. and thanks in advance image
