Great library. Thanks a lot! Can you add the state of this library in the readme and some sort of project plan? So that what else needs to be done is clear and contributions are easier to make.

I noticed this discussion from January about adding a project plan and contribution guidelines to the README. It's now August and I don't see these updates yet.
