Save the state

Open treaki opened this issue 9 years ago • 1 comments

Hi,

for the first look the app design lookes plain and simple (in a positive meaning). But with all simplicity there is one thing i miss, the possibility to save the state after the app has been ended (by whatever, maybe phone restart, maybe androids oom or maybe a task killer).

It lookes dumb to me to start everytime over from the beginning when the app forces me to. You dont need a save system with multiple slots (but there is on the other hand nothing wrong with this) but at least one should be there. Maybe you can just serialize all content of the activity when its get to background, save that to file and if it is restarter just load it again. Also dont forget a start over button... From my experiences that is the easiest, but still powerful, way to make thinks in permanent (over restart) in java based applications.

thanks in advance

and my issue is now:

please enlarge the story to a length that is
