Is x windows required to use ciderpress on linux?

The original CiderPress is a Windows MFC app, which works pretty well with Wine emulation. I'm not sure what exactly that requires, but X windows is probably needed.

CiderPress II has a full-featured command-line utility that can be used from Linux. A self-contained download package is available (so you don't have to install .NET Core separately if you don't want to).
