Unable to install faiss-gpu on windows 10
hello, I'm trying to install faiss-gpu on windows 10 using pip but it shows erorr:

python version: 3.8.10 CUDA: Build cuda_12.0.r12.0/ PyTorch dependencies is installed and CUDA is enable

Compiling Faiss GPU on windows is not supported by the core Faiss team. Any progress, comments on this configuration is welcome.
It would be nice to at least mention this in the installation instructions. It is also a bit disappointing to have pytorch on Windows but not faiss. In my case this means I have to decide not to use faiss at all for a project.

What do you use as an alternative to FAISS database? I have the same problem. Would like to run faiss-gpu on Windows. Thank you in advance for your help.
I used Faiss-cpu which is super slow to conduct my analysis. Would always be pleased if you guys can release a version to support windows machines. However, there is no chance for my to switch to Linux platform at all.
