@cbalioglu, given your recent PR, it looks like this is no longer necessary? I will still take a look at how RecipeModel is implemented for when it gets moved to fairseq2/

Yes, RecipeModel will be entirely removed soon. I suggest keeping this task in the backlog for now until we land all updates.
