I've tried to change torch's version and fairseq's version, and I've tried to install it using pip and source, but I get the same error

Hi, I would suggest to use Linux (Ubuntu) OS. I ran into a similar error when trying to install a library on my Windows machine (The library I was trying to install was different than fairseq though). The installation of the same library on Ubuntu was a lot smoother. I created a short video on how to install 'fairseq' on Ubuntu (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Te40F_o3w0k). I doubt that the video will be helpful for resolving the specific error your are using. But please feel free to check it out if you would like.
