Plot Binary Outcomes Using the Ax Backend

Open crasanders opened this issue 2 years ago • 0 comments

The new Ax-enabled models can be plotted using Ax plots. These plots have many advantages over the old AEPsych plots in that they are interactive and can handle multiple dimensions, but they cannot plot binary outcomes. We would like to plot binary outcomes similarly to the old AEPsych plots.

The plots should should be able to visualize model predictions in probability space and color-code the observed data points according to whether they were 0 or 1 outcomes. Plotting thresholds is NOT in scope for this issue. Ideally this will be implemented in generalizable way such that we can eventually plot ordinal outcomes or other arbitrary outcome types. This issue will probably require modifying Ax code directly.
