Thanks for taking a stab at this! CI tests failed and looking at the error I'm not sure whether its do to your changes or something else (the automatic test setup is a bit complex).

Do the tests pass locally for you?

I wasn't able to set up dev env, although child_process was not an issue. I gave it a second try and tests pass now on Windows and Travis CI :)

The cause was outdated (mismatching?) dependencies and linting errors.
