Cursor not shown on Editor focus

I'm having an odd issue with the Editor. The cursor doesn't seem to show up when I focus the editor if it's empty. However, as soon as there is text, when focus is fired, the cursor shows up as expected. I'm wondering if this is an intended behavior? I can't seem to figure out why the cursor isn't showing up when the editor is empty.

I'm using the latest version: 0.11.7

I had this issue too, turns out i mistakenly set the <span> global style as inline-block. You should remove it
